This was mostly caused by the combination of the timing of the anime deal and delays in the game's production forcing the anime to air well in advance of the game's release.

Their point is Japanese are very good at making money. basically, Eonia Transbaal, with technology acquired from the Black Moon, turned against the ruler of the Transbaal Empire, captured the centre planet and put the White Moon under seige. Every dialogue is voiced (except yours) by the same people in the anime also with a considerable number of clips make this game enjoyable to play and to watch; to add even more there are 5 mini games to play if you get the paths right (1 for each Angel) and you will have chance to play them again after you beat the game.
There are some hints and cheats that can make the game a little easier to play.

Galaxy Angel, the comedy space anime, was originally based off a series of Space Opera Dating Sim games that dealt with Commander Tact Mayers and his adventures with the Angel-tai (translated in the manga as "Angel Troupe", as opposed to the translated anime's "Angel Brigade", even though both originals use "Angel-tai").
The (arguably more well-known) anime is a clear Alternate Universe, the anime being a parody of Adaptation Decay in general by throwing out practically everything the game had to offer on purpose.
